what are poems for?
the answerlessness of that question is not wonderful or an opportunity.
instead it is horrible and horrifying.
there is no reason to make a poem, or anything else.

This leaves me wondering about reasonlessness. About it's story, how it comes to be, how, if it was before all else came to be, how it comes to be known now. It its presence I have no answer to the initial question, except that reasonlessness provokes awe, or horror, it is different from meaninglessness. To modify Job, Where where you when reasonlessness made the foundations of the world? So then is that what poems do, what some poems can do, what this poem does, with its faith in questions and answers, acknowledge that force, however fearful?
